well folks, this is big news!.
since this un/wt scandal blew, there have been those who strongly suspected that this association was not the whole picture.. the un's reach is worldwide in scope, it goes without saying.
and in order for the wt to use the un for that worldwide clout, an alliance had to be formed that goes way beyond the use of the un library, it now appears.

I think that bfore anyone goes running off in all directions with this, we should know whether the Jehovah's Witnesses are listed there AT THEIR REQUEST or because some well-intentioned but ill-informed third party decided to be "inclusive".
Dino, would you mind looking into this and letting us know what you discover? Just contact them and ask "Do you include Jehovah's Witnesses on your list of Christian religions because they have asked to be included?"

In addition to the good suggestions already given, it might be helpful for YOU to talk with a counselor at your boy's school to get an idea of what they might suggest.
Your son is at the age when he should be beginning to see that there is a place for him in the world. The Witnesses will rob him of that. Don't let it happen!
we have a close relative who has left her jw husband.
he is extremely controlling, and emotionally abusive.
their children are grown.
If she has decided that she's going to get the divorce, I think she's wasting her time "witnessing" to her abusive and manipulative husband about what a bad man he is and how it's OK with the SkyGod for her to have a happy life.
Has she retained an attorney? If so, she should tell her husband to communicate with her only through the attorney.
What purpose is served by debating the issue with him? Witnesses are conditioned to preach - if she doesn't want to be a witness anymore, one good way to begin is to stop acting like one.
I hope she has some resources of her own so that she does not end up depending on him for anything.
one of my sister who is a jw is still trying to keep contact with us and she's is supposed to shun us.
the problem is that i don't know if i want to see her again, we have almost nothing in common and i see her just once a year but she continue to send us letters at every months and she always told us that she love us.
i would like to do something to make her realize that the wbts doesn't have the truth but i know that she will consider me as an apostate if i say something bad about the jw.. black holes are where god divided by zero.

As dubs, we were all taught we had an obligation to help people get saved before this wicked old system of things comes to an end.
Now that we are free from that fiction-based mind control, we know that no such threat exists and that no such obligation exists.
I'll suggest that you have no obligation to rescue anyone who is an active JW, if they are comfortable with the illusions created by that particular religious opiate.
If they are miserable or they are being abused, of course, there may be valid reasons for wanting to rescue them.
Go easy on yourself. Don't assume an "obligation" that does not exist.
